For the past couple of weekends we’ve been working with Ngabi Apparel, a start up Ugandan clothing line, to document and put together media content for the Jr.Nba basketball Legaue which was put together by both Nba Africa and FUBA (Federation of Uganda Basketball Associations). Ngabi Apparel is basically putting the word and merchandise out there for the public to respond to and they felt the Jr. Nba league was a good opportunity to get things moving.
They were looking for a photographer, a friend recommended us, our past work was appreciated, we were asked, we couldn’t refuse, and we were added to their media team. We’ve been taking both pictures and video at the games which, conveniently for us, take place over the weekends and we can’t wait for you to check them out. This would’ve happened sooner but we can’t post any of the images till some final decisions about which images to release to the public have been made.
The good news is a friendly match happened at one of the school courts right after a game had been concluded and we were still present so we decided to take a few pictures and share them with you guys. The match was between an Independently run team called the A1 Challenge Ladies Basketball Team and Kibuli girls. We didn’t stay long to find out who won the match but here are some of the pictures were able to capture.
